Introduction
Theme’s Junior Piano Course (TJPC) is a revolutionary group piano learning program for students aged 4.5 to 13 years, focussed on beginner and intermediate students.
TJPC is a 5 level program built around the concept of integrating international music examination syllabi into a systematic piano learning method. Each level of the program is devised keeping in mind the London College of Music Examination benchmarks.
Each level consists of 1 hour teaching sessions, progress analysis classes, recital classes, special performances and concerts and provides every student an equal opportunity to perform and get assessed at the highest international standards.
Program Levels
Students enrol as beginners entering the program into one of the following three age levels (Entry Points). Each group batch consists of students in the same Entry Point.
Entry Point 1: Ages 4.5 to 6 years
Entry Point 2: Ages 6 to 8 years
Entry Point 3: Ages 8 +

Class Specifications
All TJPC lessons are one hour in duration with a maximum of 6 students in the batch.
Each level has a certain number of buffer lessons included that enable teachers to revise concepts, cover-up missed lessons*, prepare students for recitals and examinations and allocate additional time to all students as required.
All classes consist of structured lesson plans and homework material. A weekly objective report is sent to parents/students detailing class performance and areas of improvement.

The TJPC Level 2 curriculum covers all the concepts and content required for the repertoire & technical requirement of the London College of Music Examinations – Step 2 Piano Level. It also covers the theoretical concepts and exercise work required at the London College of Music Examinations – Step Theory Level.
