With four banks of optical Lightpipe digital connectivity, plus built-in DSP for effects processing and mixing, the MOTU LP32 USB/AVB interface is a compact-yet-powerful solution for managing digital audio. It supports a total of 32 channels at 44.1/48kHz or 16 channels at 88.2/96kHz. And each I/O bank can be switched to operate as eight channels of ADAT, four channels of SMUX, or stereo TOSLink. A front-panel headphone output makes monitoring convenient. Whether you’re recording to your computer or adding I/O to your AVB audio network, the MOTU LP32 interface is a smart, flexible solution for managing optical ADAT signals.

32 channels of ADAT “lightpipe” I/O
The LP32 provides four independent banks of 8-channel ADAT optical I/O, 64 channels of USB I/O, 32 channels of AVB-TSN network I/O and a headphone output, for a total of 258 simultaneous I/O channels.

High-performance computer connectivity New, optimized drivers for both Mac and PC deliver ultra-low latency performance. With a high-performance DAW such as Digital Performer, the M64 delivers an astonishing round trip latency (RTL) of 1.70 ms (milliseconds) on OS X and 1.71 ms on Windows over USB (at 96 kHz with a 32-sample host buffer). | ![]() USB 3 and iOS compatible |
